We were introduced to La Venise Provençale via our French family, who live locally to the vineyard and from whom they have been buying their own wine from for over 50 years. Located approximately 35km west of Marseilles in western Provence, just a few kilometres from the Mediterranean coastline of the Côte Bleue, the vineyard benefits from exceptional sunshine which is perfect for the optimum cultivation of the vines while focussing on sustainable, organic-practicing viticulture. The vineyard covers almost 500 acres and is located in the prestigious Protected Appellation of Origin (AOP) of the Côteaux d’Aix en Provence. The award-winning vineyard incorporates sustainable methods and holds official quality certifications including High Environmental Value (HVE) and Organic Farming (AB) having focussed on the development of new production standards to protect local biodiversity and manage water resources responsibly. La Venise Provençale consistently wins awards at the Concours Général Agricole in Paris, having won two Gold’s in 2024, Gold in 2025 and Gold and Silver in 2026.
